From 12 to 14 October 2020, the annual gathering of AfriLabs will take place online. AfriLabs is a pan-African network of 225 innovation centers and technology hubs from 47 countries,. The theme of this online event is “Building an Innovative and Resilient Africa”.
The ASToN network will host a virtual workshop session on Tuesday, October 13 from 12:30 to 14:00 (GMT) addressing the question :
« Which digital transformation for resilient and inclusive African cities? ».
Together with the cities of Bamako (Mali), Kampala (Uganda) and Matola (Mozambique), we will explore how urban areas in Africa envision the digital transformation for urban development and resilience.
Please join us as we will discuss how, as the continent is experiencing the fastest urban growth rate, what new solutions can help to develop resilience, sustainability and adaptiveness, especially in the face of the pandemic.
This online session will be hosted in French and English.
