The ASToN network Pitch Day

African local authorities showcased their smart and sustainable solutions for the future of their cities

As ASToN nears its completion, we organised a pitch day so cities could share their bold vision for how digital technology can improve public services in their towns and cities.

We invited representatives of all national, regional or international organisations interested in the development of sustainable and smart African urban projects to participate in this session. They had the opportunity to choose and hear from some of the 11 local authorities who pitched their digital transformation plans on the day. These plans have crystallized over three years of learning, testing and building within the ASToN network.

This event was an opportunity to:

👉 Discover the Action planning journey of 11 African cities that developed and implemented smart and digital solutions for improved service delivery

👉 Learn directly from their leaders on the digital action plans the cities have designed to build thriving African cities

👉 Share ideas on how how you could support ASToN cities, financially or technically, in the next steps of their projects

👉 Learn about the key achievements of the ASToN program and explore synergies between your ongoing projects and us
