How can cities apply the lean approach and learn from it? What is needed for local governments to test project ideas in this way and which are the benefits? We will be looking into these questions and some more during our session at the European Developement Days !
Join us in Brussel for our session “Starting small, falling fast and learning to become more resilient: African cities’ journey towards digital transformation through pilot projects and experimentations”. The secretariat and ASToN Cities will highlight how useful pilot-projects can be in digital transformation processes and how they can be achieved. We will provide a comprehensive framework to stakeholders so they can undertake experimentation in their own project!
Using experimentation to test assumptions and ideas, learn from the results and improve existing plans is a core part of our network’s methodology. This session will be thus the opportunity for us to reflect on the experimentation phase, explain why and how it improves the capacity of local authorities to lead digital transformation and innovative processes for their territory.
